Congratulations to Kacie Callahan, Morgan Taylor & Emily Frazer on being named to the CAC All-Conference Softball Team!  
 
Congratulations to our JH Girls and Boys teams for winning the Higbee Basketball Tourney.
 
Congratulations to Kacie Callahan (pitcher), Sydney Callahan (catcher) & Abi Ogle (outfield) on being named to the All-District 1st Team!  Congratulations to Morgan Taylor, Emily Frazer, Gracie Brumley & Iszy Zenker on being named to the All-District 2nd Team as infielders!  
 
Congratulations to Jacob Davis on being named CAC Baseball Co-MVP!  Congratulations to Bryce Taylor, Jack Prewett, Kenny Brunkhorst & Gage Wilson on being named to the CAC All-Conference Baseball Team!  Also congrats to Logan Head & Justyn Gittemeier on being named CAC All-Conf Honorable Mention! 
 
There will be a meeting during HR Tuesday (October 22) for any guy who is interested in being in this year’s Mr. CHS Contest.  Meeting will be in Mrs. Clover’s room.
 
Next week is Red Ribbon Week.  Students will each receive an item first thing Monday morning.  The theme for each day is as follows:
Monday-Saying No is No Sweat (wear your workout clothes, sweats)
Tuesday-Take a Trip Around the World, Not on Drugs (tourist attire)
Wednesday-Peace Out to Drugs (wear 70s attire, neon colors, etc)
Thursday-Say Boo to Drugs (wear costumes)
Friday-Team Up Against Drugs (favorite sports team apparel)
 
The High School will have the following themes for the Halloween Contest: 
Spookiest                            Disney/Pixar                      Funniest
Best Duo/Group               Hocus Pocus (Witch, Frankenstein, Black Cat, etc....things from the movie)

Parent-Teacher Conference Incentive: Battle of the Classes
  • The class (1 middle school and 1 high school) with the highest percentage of parents attending parent-teacher conferences will receive an ice cream celebration. 
  • Requirements: Your parent(s) must visit a minimum of two teachers while at parent-teacher conferences.  
 
Sophomores:  Rada money and orders are due on Wednesday, October 23rd!
 
JHBB & cheerleader pictures are at 1:30 on Tuesday.  You need to bring your uniforms to school Tuesday.

NO SCHOOL at Cairo or Macon Vo-tech (There is school at Moberly and students are expected to go)
